About The Position

Home Care Assistance of Albuquerque is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals interested in starting a rewarding career as an In-Home Caregiver Trainee. No prior caregiving experience is required. Our Caregiver Development Program (CDP) provides paid, hands-on training to prepare you for success in the field. Next Training Class: January 19, 2025 – January 23, 2025 Location: Albuquerque and surrounding communities Availability Requirements: Must be available to work within the hours of 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week Training Program Overview As a Caregiver Trainee, you will attend a full week of hands-on, instructor-led training with an experienced and supportive trainer. Requirements

  • Reliable vehicle with valid insurance and registration
  • Strong communication skills
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Physical ability to assist with transfers up to 150 lbs. using assistive devices
  • Must be available to work within the hours of 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
