About The Position
Clinical reference laboratory in Salt Lake City UT is seeking to hire an entry level BS degree/Biology or Chemistry individual willing to learn clinical laboratory testing. Extensive training will be provided in Chemistry and Hematology. Position is day shift, Monday - Friday. Salary compares with area hospitals. Medical, Dental and Vision benefits are options. Must be a US citizen or eligible to work in the US without sponsorship. Background screening will be performed. Laboratory operates state of the art instruments and laboratory information system. Job duties: Learn day to day laboratory operation Assists laboratory staff to prepare patient specimen for testing Extensive training to operate Chemistry and Hematology instruments plus Laboratory Information System Maintains federal CLIA requirements, OSHA and HIPPA compliance Customer service - provides friendly and accurate communication to client staff
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen or eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Background screening will be performed.
- Bachelor of science degree which include 24 hours in Chemistry, Biology or related sciences.
