About The Position

We are seeking an entry-level BIM Modeler to join our diverse team of dedicated and motivated professionals in Naperville, IL. The successful candidate will be trained to use Trimble's Tekla Structures software to produce 3D models of precast concrete and/or steel structures. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must have a degree or certificate or 2 years of work experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) or Computer Aided Drafting (CAD).
• Must be willing to work flexible schedule and overtime as needed.
• Experience with Trimble's Tekla Structures software is a big plus.
• Experience with C# coding is a big plus.
• Experience reading blueprints is a plus.
• Experience with drafting in AutoCAD is a plus.
• Experience with advanced functions in Microsoft Excel is a plus.
• Experience with advanced functions in Bluebeam and/or Adobe is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use Trimble's Tekla Structures software to produce complete sets of BIM details based on client specifications and requirements for precast concrete and/or steel structures.
• Utilize the company's standard details, code requirements, and standard BIM practices to produce BIM details in coordination with the Detailing Department Manager, Project Lead Engineers, and other BIM Modelers.
• Ensure BIM details are produced accurately, on time, and on budget.
