About The Position

Toyota of Tacoma is hiring an Entry-Level Technician. This role goes beyond basic oil changes, offering hands-on exposure to real repair work alongside experienced technicians. The position is designed to help individuals build the skills necessary to advance into a full line technician role. Requirements

• Strong interest in becoming an automotive technician
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Ability to communicate effectively with others
• A high level of personal motivation and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed
• Basic mathematical aptitude
• Ability to understand and apply common sense
• Clean driving record
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

• Basic mechanical knowledge or schooling preferred
• Prior experience as an Express Lube Technician, Automotive Technician or education with an Automotive Technical school preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, inspections)
• Complete multi-point inspections and document findings
• Assist technicians with diagnostics and repairs
• Learn how to troubleshoot and fix real vehicle issues
• Keep workflow moving and support the shop
