About The Position

Allpoints Surveying is seeking an Entry-level AutoCAD Quality Control Analyst to join our growing team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills. The AutoCAD Quality Control Analyst is tasked with ensuring any surveying documents created for our clients are of a high quality, accurate, and meet the standards of the surveying industry. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
AutoCAD experience and/or AutoCAD certified preferred.
Exposure to Drafting, Construction, Home Building, Civil Engineering or Land Surveying a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook) or related software required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
High degree of attention to detail required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
AutoCAD experience and/or AutoCAD certified preferred.
Exposure to Drafting, Construction, Home Building, Civil Engineering or Land Surveying a plus.

Responsibilities

Performs comprehensive reviews of drafted residential surveys to ensure accuracy prior to client submittal.
Reports any errors in writing to the appropriate department.
Perform reviews and tracks root cause of errors; identifies patterns and recommends solutions, improvements, and/or updates.
Identifies and recommends solutions to any document errors that arise.
Interacts and maintains professional relationships with clients, direct team members, and other departments.
Other duties as assigned.
