The Entry-Level Audit Associate position is based in the Carmel office, with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week in accordance with company policy. This role involves completing all phases of financial statement preparation for a diverse range of clients in the real estate sector. The Audit Associate will collaborate with various engagement teams to conduct compliance testing and prepare for the busy season, which may include travel to client locations. The position also emphasizes the importance of client service and quality reporting, ensuring that the highest standards are met. In addition to core responsibilities, the Audit Associate will have the opportunity to participate in various committees within DOZ, which focus on areas such as recruiting, retention, wellness, and training. This involvement allows employees to contribute to important day-to-day decisions within the firm. The role also includes assisting in the training and development of audit interns, as well as attending in-house Continuing Professional Education (CPE) courses to enhance knowledge of GAAP and industry-specific information. Furthermore, DOZ supports employees in their pursuit of CPA certification by providing up to 40 hours of exam study time during working hours and financial assistance for study materials.
