Requirements

  • Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) is required.
  • Florida Bar Status: Florida Bar admission preferred
  • Candidates scheduled to take the Florida Bar Exam (first-time takers) will be considered.
  • Must be based in or able to commute to the Tampa Bay area.
  • Previous bankruptcy experience is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills for client-facing Zoom interactions.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
  • Compassionate, motivated to help others, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

  • Knowledge of no-fault workers' compensation laws and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and/or assist with client consultations, providing high-quality legal guidance to individuals in financial need.
  • Analyze legal issues, conduct legal research, and assist with motion practice as needed.
  • Participate in 341 meetings and confirmation hearings (conducted via Zoom).
  • Maintain intensive client interaction through meetings, phone calls, and email correspondence.
  • Extract relevant information from documents and maintain accurate data in electronic systems.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive client information.
  • Communicate effectively with lawyers, insurance companies, and other relevant entities.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure optimal client results
