Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds repeatedly and safely team lift items exceeding that weight.
• Ability to stand/walk for a working shift.
• Working knowledge of assembly machinery and tools.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Familiarity with Kanban systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures, and wear proper PPE.
• Assemble small and large components to form sub-assemblies or completed assemblies using hand tools, air tools, and rivet guns.
• Operate the base robot and sub-assembly machines.
• Build devices per drawing, routing, and work instructions.
• Perform quality checks consistent with the Inspection and control plans.
• Conduct inventory/replenish parts to assembly stations using the Kanban system.
• Read orders and drawings to determine assembly procedures such as component types and configuration.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and uphold 5S standards.
• Cross-train new and current employees on all assembly lines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
