Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Nice To Haves

  • 3.0 GPA.
  • Strong architectural design and graphic skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within the team as well as independently.
  • Knowledge of and/or proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper and Photoshop.
  • Experience with performance modeling software, such as Ladybug, Honeybee, Energy Plus and WUFI.
  • Experience with rendering software -e.g. V-Ray, Enscape, - and Bluebeam.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • A previous internship, or professional work experience related to your field of study.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs.
  • Self-driven time management and organizational skills.
  • A portfolio of applicable recent design work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to teams on critical projects.
  • Create multiple building designs and drawings through freehand sketch and design software.
  • Collaborate with senior designers to scale, model, and construct work for clients.
