In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world’s leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Architecture/Engineering Process Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy. What You’ll Do You'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals. Requirements

  • Interest in industrial architectural design
  • Experience with facility design from the programming/concept phase through the production of construction documents, permit acquisition, and site implementation
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively interact with our team members and clients
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project
  • A willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start-up activities, client and company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, and conventions
  • A bachelor of architecture (BArch) (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure in the design of clean rooms, labs, and processing spaces
  • Exposure in the design of hazardous occupancies related to process support systems in the advance technology/semiconductor industry
  • Exposure in design of new/greenfield facilities and in the renovation of existing buildings (preferred)
  • Exposure in coordinating design with process engineers on industrial installations of utilities (preferred)
  • A master of architecture (MArch) (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Work with lead licensed architects and experienced designers to create architectural design solutions for our teams and for our clients’ manufacturing, distribution, industrial and commercial facilities
  • Develop architectural design as part of multi-disciplinary project teams including coordinating all work between engineering disciplines
  • Define the facility program requirements based on an understanding of the client’s environmental needs
  • Support the facility program requirements based on an understanding of the client’s specifications
  • Conduct code research specific to the project site, program, and proposed use
  • Create floor plans, code summaries, scoping documents, and renderings
  • Develop the base plan and communicate requirements to other engineering disciplines and sub-consultants
  • Develop schematic design, including sketches
  • Research material options and alternative building methods in an effort to deliver optimal client solutions
  • Develops specifications and oversees preparation of plans for permit acquisition and construction
  • Answers RFIs and review submittals and shop drawings throughout the pre-construction and construction phases of the project
