About The Position

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Knowledge Center Support Specialist to serve as a front-line resource for security professionals and Key Management Personnel (KMPs), providing expert-level support in the processing of Facility Clearances (FCLs) and Personnel Clearances (PCLs) for entities within the DCSA NAESOC. This role is critical to ensuring accurate, timely, and customer-centric support for the DCSA mission.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years' experience in personnel security, customer service, or industrial security environments.
  • Familiarity with NISS, DISS, e-QIP, and NBIS systems strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond promptly in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze information and effectively communicate status and procedural guidance to stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting DoD or government security clearance processes.
  • Working knowledge of FCL/PCL lifecycle management and terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to daily inquiries via phone and email regarding the FCL process, general requirements, and personnel security investigations tied to KMPs.
  • Manage approximately 40+ status calls daily and respond to high-volume email inquiries through the Knowledge Center.
  • Utilize systems such as NISS, DISS, and e-QIP/NBIS to track and manage case status, respond to queries, and initiate clearance processes.
  • Monitor and track the status of e-QIP/NBIS submissions and adjudications on a regular basis, with scheduled reviews at 10 and 20-day intervals.
  • Identify and document trends in FAQs and escalate them for updates to training materials and the DCSA website.
  • Support working groups, trend analyses, and the development of knowledge base materials.
  • Prepare and send out Facility Welcome Packages and coordinate with Government Staff Specialists for case handoff and follow-up.
