About The Position

The Entertainment Technician is respo nsible for the set-up, execution and maintenance of entertainment venue sound , lighting and video equipment for concerts as well as corporate events.

Requirements

• Experience with speaker systems, FOH /monitor consoles, and mic systems inclusive of conference systems.
• Lighting Ex perience: Concert and corporate lighting, pro gramming moving light fixtures.
• Experience working with musical acts of all calibers and genres.
• Basic video experience.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Ability to read instructions and schematic diagrams.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
• Experience working with corporate clients as well as national and regional touring acts.
• Strong knowledge of Apple and Windows operating systems.
• One (1) to three (3) years of experien ce with set up and handling aspects of audio, video and lighting.
• Must be able to lift and/or push up to 80lbs.
• Must be able to work standing for up to 4 hours at a time.
• Must be able to work in small, confined areas.
• Must be able to bend at the waist
• Must be able to reach above the head.

Nice To Haves

• Proven venue experience is preferred.
• Sound and light engineering or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating venue audio, video , staging, and lighting systems for concerts and corporate events.
• Trouble shooting and problem identification during events; recognize, repair and maintain.
• Ensuring the safety and security of all guests, entertainers and team members/employees.
• Other duties as assigned.
