About The Position
The Technician - Video Production at The Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino is responsible for the operation and management of video systems within entertainment venues. This role requires a skilled technician who can supervise video operations, maintain production department equipment, and ensure that all activities align with the resort's policies and procedures. The technician will be involved in installing and operating video systems for various events, including shows, concerts, and meetings, while also assisting visiting video directors and technicians to ensure safety and the preservation of venue systems. In addition to operating video equipment, the technician will maintain comprehensive knowledge of venue video systems, initiate scheduled maintenance, and manage repairs as needed. This includes tracking the location and status of all video equipment, creating video content, and assisting management in preparing for upcoming attractions. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining inventory reports of consumables and alerting management to necessary purchases. Safety is a critical aspect of this role, and consistent attendance is essential. The technician may also be required to perform other related duties as assigned, adhering to the company's standards of conduct at all times.
