About The Position
The position involves assisting with the installation and striking of lighting elements and special effects in the park. Responsibilities include maintenance of lighting instruments and special effect elements, performing opening and closing duties, and completing assigned projects with minimal supervision. The role requires responding to park trouble calls, running temporary power for seasonal events, and possessing intermediate knowledge of lighting, including the ability to hang and focus lighting instruments. Candidates should have basic operational skills with theatrical lighting consoles and knowledge of safe assembly of truss structures. The position also involves installing and maintaining various lighting and special effects equipment, reading theatrical lighting plots, and communicating effectively with team members and guests.
