About The Position

Here We Grow Again! We're excited to be adding new markets to our Rhino family and assembling crews in New York / New Jersey. If you have a strong work ethic, a 'can-do' attitude, and want to play a role in setting the stage for some of the most successful events in our industry, we have a great opportunity for you! We're hiring General & Skilled Stagehands and Riggers to support concert tours, festivals, and other live events throughout the tri-state area. We work with some of the biggest production companies in the business and provide labor to venues including Hudson Yards, Lego Land, Flushing Meadows Corono Park, Union Square and many upscale hotels in & around New York City.

Requirements

• Ability to push, pull and lift at least 50 lbs. on your own.
• Ability to consistently walk, stand, bend, stoop & twist.
• Comfortable climbing & working at heights (for Riggers).
• Reliable source of transportation to get to and from event sites.
• Must understand general industry terms and fundamental principles.
• Must be willing to work indoors or outdoors under varying weather conditions.
• Must be willing to work cohesively with teammates and supervisors.
• Must wear appropriate attire and footwear for concert / corporate events.
• Professional appearance & demeanor.
• Able to effectively communicate in English (verbally and in writing).
• Must be 18 yrs of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• SPRAT / IRATA Certifications (for Riggers).

Responsibilities

• Support concert tours, festivals, and other live events.
• Work with production companies and provide labor to various venues.
• Perform varying stagehand level roles as needed.
