Entertainment Rigging Professional - Las Vegas
About The Position
Are you a work-at-heights professional with Entertainment Industry experience? Do you have other rigging, climbing or rope-access experience? If you're interested in challenging, rewarding work aloft, we invite you to come grow with us. Work Schedule: This is a part-time, on-call position, as needed position. Hours will vary, (including nights, weekends and holidays), and there is no minimum guarantee of hours per week, month, etc. Rhino Staging was founded in 1991 with a simple philosophy of doing things right and treating people well. Requirements
- Ability to push, pull and lift at least 50 lbs. as required for equipment handling.
- Ability to consistently walk, stand, bend, stoop & twist as required for on-site tasks.
- Comfortable climbing & working at heights as required for Rigging
- Reliable source of transportation to get to and from event sites in a timely manner
- Must understand general industry terms and fundamental principles
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. This position is classified as safety-sensitive under Nevada law. (We do not screen for marijuana.)
- Must be willing to work indoors or outdoors under varying weather conditions
- Must be willing to work cohesively with teammates and supervisors
- Must wear appropriate attire and footwear for concert / corporate events as outlined in Rhino policies
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English to ensure the safe execution of tasks and coordination with crew and clients
- Must be 18 yrs of age or older
- High School diploma or equivalent
- OSHA 10 General Industry certification required by the State of Nevada.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
- SPRAT / IRATA Certification is preferred.
- Fall Pro certification is a plus
