Enterprise Technology Solutions Summer Intern
About The Position
RRD is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team this Summer as an Enterprise Technology Solutions Intern! THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE Position Summary The Information Technology Intern will work within the Enterprise Technology Solutions team, supporting both projects and day-to-day operations. This role provides hands-on experience with Windows operating systems, security tools, and process automation, including scripts designed to support the ongoing performance, stability, and security of enterprise applications, as well as Level 1–2 investigation and resolution of system incidents and problems.
Requirements
- Must be a full-time student at an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Information Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and enterprise IT environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and comfortable working independently or collaboratively in a team environment
- Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
Nice To Haves
- exposure to security tools, endpoint management, or identity and access management, or prior internship, lab, or hands-on IT experience
Responsibilities
- Assist with collecting and maintaining technology asset inventory across sites and updating records in ServiceNow (CMDB)
- Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of Windows systems, including Active Directory and DNS
- Support the use and administration of security tools and endpoint protection solutions
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving application and system issues
- Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and deployments
- Document technical procedures, system configurations, and workflows
