About The Position

Position Description: Seeking a forward-thinking, technically adept leader to spearhead the transformation of a mission-critical software portfolio into a modern, scalable, and maintainable platform. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic vision, guiding the evolution of our software architecture while mentoring teams and aligning modernization efforts with business imperatives. Your future duties and responsibilities: Ensure all work performed is aligned with corporate AI and cloud responsible use principles and directives. Ability to design and develop enterprise architectures that effectively balance functional requirements, organizational dynamics, and budgetary constraints, ensuring scalable and sustainable solutions within real-world limitations. Proven experience leading modernization of disparate legacy systems into a single cohesive modern solution (e.g., monolith to microservices, cloud migration).

Requirements

  • Expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and system integration. (10+ Years Experience)
  • Modern Stacks: Strong knowledge of modern development stacks (e.g., .NET Core, Java Spring Boot, Node.js, Flutter, PostGres, etc.).
  • Cloud & Containers: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with legacy technologies (e.g., VB6, PowerBuilder, etc.) and strategies for interfacing or replacing them.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Background in enterprise-scale systems and data migration.
  • Experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems and mobile solutions is a strong plus.
  • Experience with spatial solutions, including GIS integration, location-based services, and mapping technologies.
  • Understanding of field service workflows, mobile-first design principles, and geospatial data handling.
