Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team and help build our market presence and expand our business in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Reporting to our Sales Team Leader, the ideal candidate will have broad experience in, and a deep understanding of, the Financial Services industry including the Wealth Management and Institutional verticals, financial technology solutions and a proven track record of driving sales strategies, building client relationships, and closing high-value deals. You will play a critical role in expanding BetaNXT’s market presence and revenue base by delivering cutting-edge solutions to financial institutions, businesses, and partners. This role will play a critical part in BetaNXT’s strategy and business growth going forward.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of sales experience in the FinTech or Wealth Management or financial services industry, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Experience in a private equity owned or managed business is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field or a combination of education and relevant experience; MBA preferred. Industry credentials such as FINRA Series exams and/or SIFMA Institute are a plus.
  • Proven track record of managing and developing successful sales strategies in the Financial Services industry delivering growth and a commitment to success
  • In-depth knowledge of financial technology products, including payment solutions, blockchain, banking software, and digital financial services
  • Strong network of contacts in the financial services industry, including C-level executives and Board-level executives. Proven ability to interact and influence at this level is key
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Successful candidate is highly self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve results for themselves and BetaNXT.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess customer needs and align them with innovative solutions.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a private equity owned or managed business is preferred.
  • MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the company’s market share in the Financial Services sector.  A key area of focus will be on closing new business and achieving better wallet-share penetration for existing BetaNXT clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by developing relationships with key decision-makers in the Financial Services universe, traditional banks, broker dealers, family offices, other financial institutions, payment providers, established and emerging fin-tech providers and other relevant industries.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and Account Management teams to refine product offerings and create tailored solutions for clients and prospects
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Play a lead role in negotiating contracts, pricing, and setting terms of service to close deals effectively in alignment with company objectives
  • Create, monitor and maintain your sales pipeline and revenue forecasts, and provide regular updates to senior management
  • Ensure the Salesforce application is updated and reflects all current activity for all team members.
  • Stay updated and current and act as the SME for latest trends, regulations, and technologies in the Financial Services and FinTech landscape to help ensure the BetaNXT has the appropriate solutions in place to service this marketplace.
  • Leverage industry contacts and market knowledge to refine BetaNXT’s approach to sales and prospect engagement
