The Enterprise Risk Manager is responsible for implementing components of the Edward Jones Enterprise Risk Management framework and following established processes and procedures as set forth by senior leadership. This position collaborates within the division and ERM as needed to support risk identification, risk measurement, risk controls and risk monitoring. The position will analyze data and provide recommendations that aid in risk reporting within their specific domain and with senior leadership guidance. As part of the Enterprise Risk Management team, this individual will contribute to the build and enablement of our Enterprise risk culture.

Requirements

  • Associates degree, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years experience, 3-5 years preferred.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Frameworks, methodologies and best practices.
  • Knowledge of the financial services and wealth management industries.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the execution of Enterprise risk strategies, in alignment with the company's strategic objectives and our Enterprise Risk Management strategy.
  • Contributes to the development of Enterprise Risk Management programs, policies, standards and processes to analyze and report enterprise risks, and to manage risks according to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Assists with components of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, such as framework pillars, programs, or objective-level execution.
  • Review components of the Enterprise risk profile to aid in the identification of risk insights to ensure effective risk management and prioritization of our most significant risks at the firm level.
  • Assists leadership to ensure components of the organization's risk management framework and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations, rating agency standards, and strategic imperatives of the organization.
  • Works with partners within ERM to further develop and strengthen our Enterprise Risk Management framework.
  • Assists leadership to support effective risk management practices across the company's governance ecosystem and decision-making processes.
  • Contributes to a collaborative, accountable, transparent and proactive risk culture within the function.
  • Acts as a resource to implement targeted enhancements to the Enterprise Risk Framework to ensure the effectiveness and continuous improvement towards maturity.
  • Stays informed on risk industry and educational/development opportunities.
  • Work closely within Enterprise Risk Management program leads to assemble GRC roadmap objectives aligned to the company's strategic objectives and our Enterprise Risk Management strategy and governance structures, roles and responsibilities.
  • Administration and oversight of the firm's GRC (Governance Risk Compliance) vendor and related tool(s) and guidance on usage to ERM and business partners.
