The canvas for this job is as broad as Washington’s reach. The ideal candidate will be someone with an insatiable curiosity about Washington and the forces that shape it. Want to solve Washington’s biggest mysteries? This is the job for you. We are looking for enterprise stories that reveal the government’s power centers and deeply reported stories that sharpen our audience’s understanding of politics, policy, and national security, among other things. Candidates should have seven or more years experience breaking news and crafting feature stories, with clips that specifically demonstrate the ability to deliver journalism that everyone talks about. The job will report to the Washington Enterprise Editor and be based in our Washington, DC office.
