About The Position

As a member of Baxter's sales team, you'll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You'll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you'll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7+ years of healthcare sales experience
  • 3+ years of sales management experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies
  • Good organization, time management and overall leadership skills
  • Ability to understand and adapt to customer changing needs
  • Demonstrated eye for business and knowledge of sales processes
  • Effective leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Willingness to travel to remote or urban areas

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Territory Managers with prospective customers, delivering effective sales presentations, providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quoting appropriate customer prices
  • Driving the implementation of team strategies to ensure the attainment for regionally focused objectives
  • Planning directing, and controlling the sales and business activities for region through the translation of strategic plans into sales strategies to attain sales volume, product mix and profit objectives
  • Preparing annual regional forecasts and participating in the determination of market potential and in preparation of sales expense estimates for the region
  • Managing the sales & development efforts of the region including, contract compliance, staffing, training, performance management, coaching plans, administrative requirements (Boost, BaxU, QSOR, Tableau, OneDrive, etc)
  • Collaborating with the IDN Team with major accounts within your region to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Conferring with immediate superior and marketing personnel in the development of marketing policy, recommending product and product line revisions as well as pricing changes
  • Partnering with sales support, marketing and R D in activities such as sales promotion, training or market research in planning and completing special projects
  • Promoting the Baxter Culture through positive ongoing customer relations
