About The Position

This project role is a telework/hybrid position. The candidate of choice may work from home with a reliable internet connection. Travel and in-office work may be required. The Washington State Department of Corrections Office of Strategy and Innovation (OSI) is searching for motivated and collaborative individual to join their team as an Enterprise Project Manager (EPM). The goal of this position is to oversee the implementation of the Medicaid Transformation Project (MPT), which has direct impact on individual patient care and patient safety in correctional facilities. As an Enterprise Project manager, you will serve a critical role within the OSI in managing this large, enterprise level project that impacts several divisions within the agency. The EPM will be a senior professional providing leadership and direction to the MPT and other projects as assigned, which includes communicating with executive sponsors, managers, and staff. You will collaborate with internal and external partners as well as subject matter experts to develop applicable methodologies for implementation in a correctional environment. The EPM will utilize standardized tools and templates as well as implement project management best practices. It is widely known that justice involved individuals face many challenges upon release. One of these challenges is access to healthcare. Medicaid Section 1115 waivers intend to support these transitions by enabling access to Medicaid benefits for a period prior to reentry and continuing support once in the community via benefits and already established relationships with providers.
