About The Position

The Enterprise Program Manager - Certified is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of enterprise-impacting strategic programs comprised of high complexity projects by developing and implementing program strategies, managing budgets, timelines, and resources, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve overall strategic goal and align with organizational vision; coordinating various projects to ensure smooth delivery and meet milestones. This role is responsible for the end-to-end charge of programs, from shaping the approach to achieving the desired outcomes through delivery and post-delivery value realization. May manage primarily strategic programs tied to enterprise strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in a relevant discipline
  • 10+ years in a project management role
  • 5+ years as a project manager
  • 5+ years as a program manager

Responsibilities

  • Develops the overall approach for strategic programs, significant time frames, and the definition of major deliverables to address and meet the desired goals and outcomes.
  • Defines scope, and deliverables, creating a comprehensive program plan, and aligning it with the company's strategic vision.
  • Motivates and guides teams, builds consensus, and makes informed decisions.
  • Monitors program budgets, tracking underlying project expenses for equipment, supplies, and contracted services.
  • Works closely with the finance department to ensure financial compliance and cost-efficient program execution.
  • Identifies cost variances and takes corrective actions to stay within budget constraints.
  • Communicates and strategizes with executive sponsors to formulate meeting agendas.
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to all levels of leadership.
  • Facilitates communications and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders, including hospital departments, physicians, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Regularly creates and presents program reports, including status updates, performance metrics, and key insights to key stakeholders.
  • Leads review with the executive sponsor and stakeholders to identify organic or specific program needs and changes.
  • Tracks program metrics, analyzes performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manages significant bodies of work as a unified program, assigning tasks to team members, and monitoring progress against timelines.
  • Identifies potential risks and develops mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Identifies and addresses issues, resolves competing priorities and makes necessary adjustments to the plan.
  • Optimizes resource utilization across programs within the program, including budget management and personnel allocation.
  • Acts as an advisor and builds and maintains relationships across the wider stakeholder community.
  • Interacts regularly with executive sponsors to inform, alert, negotiate, and maintain a continuing good relationship and shared vision for the program outcome.
  • Monitors and coordinates dependencies across the programs in the program and works seamlessly with diverse teams from different departments to ensure program execution.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
