About The Position

The Enterprise Network Specialist serves as the organization’s primary subject matter expert for all networking-related systems while also providing hands-on assistance to IT support technicians and end users across infrastructure and systems. This role combines deep technical expertise in network architecture and troubleshooting with a broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient operations across all venues and corporate environments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in network engineering and administration
3+ years of experience in IT support and infrastructure operations
Cisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent required; additional CompTIA Network+/Security+ desirable
Experience with hospitality systems (POS, Oracle, venue technologies) preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Server, Azure, VMware/Hyper-V, and enterprise security tools
Deep knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and security
Strong troubleshooting skills across network, server, and endpoint layers
Strong organizational skills; capable of balancing SME responsibilities with hands-on IT support
Valid Driver’s License and passport eligibility for travel
21+ years of age
Must have strong problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Must have good positive energy throughout the day
Must be able to read the computer monitors and print legibly
Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to move quickly through work and set the pace in the office
Must be able to push and lift up to 25 lbs.
Must be effective as part of a team; ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Act as the organization’s SME for all network-related issues including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN
Architect, configure, and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, access points, and load balancers
Monitor network performance and security, proactively identifying and remediating risks
Administer network services such as DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and routing protocols
Lead incident response and root cause analysis for network outages or security breaches
Stay current on industry standards, emerging technologies, and security best practices
Serve as an escalation point for 1st and 2nd level support on hardware, OS, applications, and user issues
Support POS systems, hospitality applications (Micros, Oracle, venue systems), and end-user technologies
Assist with Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and server environments
Participate in IT projects including system upgrades, cloud adoption, virtualization, and disaster recovery
Document standards, processes, and troubleshooting steps for the IT knowledge base
Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned
