About The Position

Provides test, integration, and controlled-release support for Enterprise Management capabilities before changes reach production. This role reduces operational risk by validating new EM features, packages, baselines, and configurations in a representative test environment and documenting readiness for release.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline or equivalent practical experience (as permitted by the contract).
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience supporting enterprise IT environments, with demonstrated work aligned to Tier 3 Level EM Development and Testing Support Services.
  • At least one: Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+, or GSEC.
  • Alternate/equivalent certifications may be accepted with Government approval.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust suitability and all required system access (e.g., CAC-enabled accounts) to perform duties.
  • This position is aligned to applicable DoD Manual 8140.03 work role 451 (NIST: OM-SA-001); contractor personnel must meet DoD 8570.01-M baseline certification requirements and transition to DoD Manual 8140.03 work role requirements, including required training, knowledge, skills, abilities, and tasks, within Government-directed timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test plans, scripts, and pass/fail criteria for EM changes, including new configuration baselines, packaging standards, OSD task sequences, reporting updates, and platform upgrades.
  • Execute regression and integration testing for patches, application releases, policy changes, and feature rollouts; capture evidence and document outcomes for stakeholders.
  • Validate interoperability across endpoint, identity, and security controls during EM changes (e.g., device compliance, certificate chains, enrollment flows, and required communications).
  • Support pilot and phased deployments by validating deployment rings, rollback procedures, and operational monitoring prior to broader release.
  • Analyze logs, telemetry, and configuration outputs to identify defects, integration issues, and unintended impacts; provide actionable remediation recommendations.
  • Maintain configuration management discipline for ITC, including versioned snapshots, change records, approved test datasets, and controlled access to prevent unapproved modifications.
  • Coordinate test schedules, stakeholder notifications, and approval artifacts; ensure releases meet documented criteria before production implementation.
  • Support patch and remediation testing activities to reduce production incidents during vulnerability response and scheduled maintenance cycles.
  • Develop and maintain automation to streamline test environment setup, validation steps, and repeatable evidence collection.
  • Maintain disaster recovery and restoration validation for EM components within test scope, including backup/restore verification and readiness checklists.
  • Document ITC processes, runbooks, and lessons learned to improve test effectiveness and reduce cycle time for future releases.
