About The Position

The Enterprise IT Network Engineer, reporting to the Enterprise Infrastructure Manager, is a key member of the Enterprise Infrastructure team responsible for supporting and troubleshooting global network operations. This role combines technical expertise with proactive network management and global infrastructure support to ensure Pyxus International's IT network operations remain robust and scalable across its worldwide footprint.

Requirements

  • 4 year Degree in Information Technology or Business related field.
  • Certification in industry recognized network qualifications (e.g. CCNP, CCNA)
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in Networking.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Azure.
  • Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory, IP Address Management
  • Experience with network management systems and Cisco/Meraki hardware design and configuration
  • Expertise in Active Directory architecture and multi-forest/domain cloud architecture and design
  • Experience with Group Policy creation and management
  • Knowledge of Windows Server OS and IT management systems such as SCCM and Intune.
  • Experience with Enterprise Monitoring systems, with knowledge of SNMP/WMI.
  • Experience in management of Microsoft Certificate Services.
  • Experience with firewalls including CISCO and Palo Alto.
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills.
  • Excellent Documentation skills.

  • Ability to work well with others while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality, honesty, and integrity.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and testing new infrastructure technologies.
  • Configuring and maintaining hardware such as routers, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Managing global SDWAN network.
  • Managing and Monitoring the Pyxus global Meraki network.
  • Implement, manage, and monitor measures that support Zero Trust Network Architecture.
  • Managing Active Directory architecture including domain controllers, sites, and services.
  • Managing network connectivity aspects (IP Addressing, DNS, DHCP, Radius).
  • Create, maintain and implement Active Directory Group Policy Objects.
  • Creating and maintaining Azure Virtual Networks, Subnets, NSGs, Azure Front Door, and Azure Web Application Firewall.
  • Create and Maintain network documentation.
  • Supporting global network operations and coordinating with regional managers and administrators on network and Active Directory changes.
  • Working with cross-functional teams on new projects and strategies.
  • Assist as required regarding any legal or audit issues requiring IS resources for investigative or forensic data analysis efforts.
  • Creating SOPs for network Infrastructure related processes
  • Providing on-call support.
  • Providing level 2 & 3 support to end users as well as global administrators.
