About The Position

Skylo is a global Non-Terrestrial Network service provider based in Mountain View, CA, offering a service that allows smartphone and IoT cellular devices to connect directly over existing satellites. Skylo’s direct-to-device service is now live on millions of activated devices across five continents, with more than 60 million square kilometers of coverage, in partnership with multiple satellite operators, mobile network operators (MNOs), Tier-1 chipset makers, and OEMs. Devices connected over satellite are managed and served by Skylo's commercial NTN vRAN, featuring a 3GPP standards-based cloud-native base station and core. Skylo provides anywhere, anytime connectivity solution that seamlessly roams between terrestrial and satellite networks. Our focus is on enabling connected services for people outdoors and connected workflows across three main verticals: mass-market consumer devices, automotive, and industrial IoT. This role is remote with an expectation that the candidate is located in California or in the US West Coast time zone. Skylo is hiring an Enterprise IOT Partner Manager to help fulfill Skylo’s mission of making satellite connectivity available to all. This individual will be responsible for driving business development with Enterprise IOT end-customers and focus OEM partners

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales or Business Development in technology and/or communications, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at executive levels with customer/partner organizations.
  • Ability to handle complex, cross functional issues faced by customers/partners.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to confidently represent your point of view to senior leadership and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, preferably Hubspot
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments, adapting quickly to changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with Cellular Carriers and Satellite Service Providers is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Own the business relationship with key accounts.
  • Drive planning and execution to launch and grow Skylo Services
  • Create co-marketing opportunities with key accounts
  • Be the voice of the customer within Skylo, providing insights to improve our products and services
  • Act as an effective point of communication and escalation for partner issues, collaborating cross-functionally to resolve challenges.
  • Use reporting tools to provide complete transparency and visibility of key account status to key stakeholders
