About The Position

Zoox’s internship program provides hands-on experiences with state of the art technology, mentorship from some of the industry's brightest minds, and the opportunity to play a part in our success. Internships at Zoox are reserved for those who demonstrate outstanding academic performance, activities outside their course work, aptitude, curiosity, and a passion for Zoox's mission. In this Role, You Will... Perform SAP Integration Suite iFlow development, adapter configuration, data transformation, API management, monitoring & troubleshooting Configure adapters, mappings, and basic error handling in SAP Integration Suite under supervision, including simple transformations (XML/JSON) and content-based routing. Support unit testing, test data preparation, and execution of integration test cases; document test results and defects. Help with creating or updating technical documentation such as interface catalogs, design specs, and monitoring runbooks. Monitor integration jobs and message processing in SAP BTP (message tracking, retries, basic incident analysis) and escalate issues as needed.

Requirements

  • Currently working towards a B.S., M.S., Ph.D., or advanced degree in a Computer Science/Information Technology program
  • Good academic standing
  • Able to commit to a 12-week internship beginning in May or June of 2026.
  • At least one previous industry internship, co-op, or project completed in a relevant area
  • Ability to relocate to the Bay Area, California for the duration of the internship
  • Interns at Zoox may not use any proprietary information they are working on as part of their thesis, any published work with their university, or to be distributed to anyone outside of Zoox
  • Problem-solving, communication, collaboration, attention to detail, self-directed learning
  • Understanding of REST and SOAP web services, HTTP methods, status codes, and common auth mechanisms (OAuth 2.0/basic auth).
  • Familiarity with JSON, XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath/XQuery for data formats and transformations.
  • Basic knowledge of enterprise integration patterns (routing, transformation, messaging) and SOA/microservices concepts.
  • Programming Languages: Java (Intermediate), JavaScript/TypeScript (Basic), JSON/XML (Intermediate), ABAP (Nice-to-have), SQL (Basic)
