About The Position
As an Enterprise Insights Analyst Intern, you will play a key role in advancing analytics initiatives that support The Toro Company’s diverse portfolio of brands. With a curious, proactive mindset, you will partner with cross‑functional teams to advance economic forecasting, customer insights, and AI‑driven analysis. Your work will transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive meaningful business improvements and enterprise-level impact. This role is ideal for a student who is passionate about data storytelling, motivated by solving business challenges, and eager to build real‑world consulting and analytics skills.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong data analytics and critical-thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, formulas and charts).
- Coursework or experience in forecasting, econometrics, or predictive analytics.
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., text analytics, machine learning basics, automation tools).
- Exposure to market research or customer insights.
- Collaborative and team ‑ oriented working style.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in group settings.
- Demonstrates initiative and takes ownership of tasks.
- Operates with a solution ‑ oriented and analytical mindset.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with at least one BI or analytics tool—such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or R—is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in data storytelling using economic forecasting data sourced from both internal systems and external market indicators.
- Leveraging AI and machine learning tools to support customer persona development, market research, and early‑stage product concept testing.
- Analyzing customer insights, segmentation datasets, surveys, and behavioral trends to uncover opportunities and guide decision‑making.
- Support the creation of dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Excel, or similar platforms.
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations for business partners, including senior leadership.
