About The Position
Corteva Agriscience is offering an exciting and impactful 3-month internship opportunity within our EIT Department, located in either Johnston, IA, or Indianapolis, IN. This internship is designed for students who are eager to contribute to innovative projects that enhance food security and drive sustainability. Interns will have the opportunity to work closely with our team in one of five major areas: Cyber Security, Regulatory Compliance & Controls, Quality, Productivity & Effectiveness, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Infrastructure, Operations, and Cloud Services. Each area presents unique challenges and opportunities for learning and growth. In the Cyber Security area, interns will examine various metrics, including Key Performance Indicators and Key Risk Indicators, to identify opportunities for improvement and automation. The Regulatory Compliance & Controls team will involve interns in reviewing ServiceNow indicator tasks and documentation to support IT General Controls for SOX audits, particularly appealing to those with a background in Management Information Systems (MIS) and accounting. Interns focusing on Quality, Productivity & Effectiveness will analyze Corteva's spending and explore automation opportunities within vendor performance. The ERP team will engage interns in developing and implementing business process improvements using SAP or other technologies. Lastly, the Infrastructure, Operations, and Cloud Services team will require interns to document alerts across database platforms and work towards automating the resolution of these alerts. Throughout the internship, interns will be expected to contribute their unique skills and creativity, adhere to safety protocols, collaborate positively with team members, and provide summaries and reports to supervisors, presenting results in meetings as necessary.
