The Enterprise Information Security Incident Response Analyst I plays a crucial role in supporting and participating in routine incident response activities across Trinity Health and its Ministry organizations. This position involves performing technical analysis to identify security incidents, threats, and intrusions, and rapidly determining the appropriate course of action and response. The analyst will work closely with departmental management, Trinity Information Services (TIS) leadership, and Information Security subject matter experts to investigate and resolve network security issues while mitigating threats and vulnerabilities across the organization. The primary responsibilities include incident response, threat hunting, and data analysis to protect and maintain the overall security of the enterprise. The analyst is expected to understand and incorporate the mission, vision, and core values of Trinity Health in their leadership behaviors and decisions. They will assist in protecting enterprise systems and information by promptly responding to security threats and incidents, proactively searching for threats, and enacting identification, containment, and eradication measures while supporting recovery efforts. Additionally, the analyst will analyze cyber security incidents to solve issues and improve incident handling procedures, escalate incident detection operations, and assist with real-time, continuous security event monitoring, response, and reporting. Coordination with appropriate departments during a security incident is essential, and the analyst will create thorough reports and documentation of all incidents and procedures, presenting findings to team and senior-level analysts. The role also involves assessing cyber threat intelligence and engaging in self-development through self-study to increase knowledge of network security solutions using best practices. The analyst must maintain a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations to ensure adherence to ethical and professional behavior.
