About The Position

We are looking for a highly skilled Implementation Engineer to join our Implementation Team. In this role, you will partner directly with customers to implement Observe, ensuring the platform is configured to meet customer use cases and achieve successful adoption. You’ll act as both a trusted technical advisor and a hands-on engineer, driving implementation success and helping customers realize the full value of Observe.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in technical implementation, solutions engineering, consulting roles, or customer-side implementation roles.
  • Strong background in observability, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps tooling (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Proven track record of delivering successful customer implementations of complex SaaS or observability platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hands-on scripting/coding skills (Python, Go, Bash, or similar) for integration and automation tasks.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and data platforms is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with competitive solutions is a big plus, since the majority of customer migrations are from incumbent tools.
  • Experience with Splunk (SPL), Elastic, Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, or similar platforms is highly valuable — especially the ability to work with query languages, metrics, dashboards, and alerting models.
  • Knowledge of OpenTelemetry (OTEL). If not, a solid understanding of conventional APM tools and practices is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customer engagements to implement Observe, including configuration, integration, and customization based on customer requirements.
  • Work closely with customer stakeholders to ensure Observe meets their use cases and business goals.
  • Deliver onboarding workshops, technical enablement sessions, and best-practice guidance tailored to each customer.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and the Account Team to provide a seamless implementation journey.
  • Develop automation, integrations, and repeatable solutions that accelerate customer onboarding.
  • Capture customer feedback and provide insights to internal teams to improve product capabilities and implementation methodologies.
  • Document implementation patterns, playbooks, and reusable assets to scale future customer engagements.
