AMD is seeking an Enterprise Ecosystem Technical Sales Lead to support AMD commercial solutions, focusing on deep technical engagement with priority global enterprise influencers, GSIs, and ecosystem partners in the field. This role will provide a lead technical interface with global enterprise ecosystem partner technical teams and decision-makers, in partnership with AMD Business Units. The position will provide incremental technical support to develop and execute strategic solutions with AMD technology, tailored for global enterprise customers. Key responsibilities include initial enterprise datacenter and cloud assessments and driving technical depth to understand customer requirements and pain points.

  • Deliver technical assessments for what solutions are needed for enterprise opportunities across datacenter, cloud, AI, and commercial client
  • Develop technical relationships with target end customer accounts and enterprise ecosystem influencers
  • Work with GSI, VARs, OEMs, OSVs, IHVs, ISVs and Hyperscalers to develop and deploy new AMD solutions for enterprise
  • Gain Commitments from priority enterprise customer decision-makers to test and validate ecosystem solutions developed via POCs
  • Work with FAEs, Sales to successfully meet enterprise success criteria and convert to AMD revenue
  • Reduce technical friction for enterprise by working with ecosystem partners to successfully support migration to AMD
  • Work with AMD internal teams across AMD Business Units to build technical presentations and documentation of ecosystem solutions to be delivered in the field
  • Improve AMD's ability to support large enterprise end customers by driving feedback into AMD BU and Engineering teams
  • Translate large enterprise customer business issues and requirements into technical solution opportunities/engagements that best demonstrate AMD-based product offerings
  • Possess a solid understanding of the competitive landscape and clearly articulate the technical differentiation and value proposition associated with AMD versus its competitors
  • Proficient in security requirements, certifications, and the AMD-based security solutions for large enterprise customers across the ecosystem, including AMD hardware, OS, and OEM platforms
  • Lead technical design sessions; architect and detail technical solutions that are aligned with customer objectives
  • Proficient in assessing customer infrastructure and developing optimal AMD solutions for customer needs
  • Capability to connect AMD enterprise solutions to specific customer technical and business outcomes
  • Excellent organizational skills with a good balance of hardware, architecture, and software expertise
  • Ability to work independently, as well as to collaborate as part of a team
  • Good time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong internal (Sales, Marketing, Engineering) and external (customer/partner/OEM) relationships
  • Proven success in developing and maintaining technical relationships

  • Proven experience working with large enterprise customers and GSIs (Accenture, Deloitte, HCL Tech, Infosys, Kyndryl, TCS, Tech Mahindra)
  • Knowledge of how to design and develop enterprise solutions for datacenter and AI infrastructure
  • Experience in datacenter solutions, with specialized knowledge of client software environments including Operating Systems (Windows, Linux), virtualization hypervisors (Broadcom/VMWare, RedHat, Nutanix), database (SAP, SQL Server) drivers, benchmarks, and targeted applications that may be used to validate server and workstation platforms
  • Contacts and experience working with OEMs (Dell, HPE, Lenovo, SuperMicro) and MDCs (AWS, Google, IBM, Oracle, Microsoft)
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: CPU and Server system architecture, benchmarks, and Server platform enablement
  • Capability of presenting technology to enterprise customers in a simple and effective manner, that 'speaks the language' of the customer
  • Quality hands-on experience and solid knowledge of server hardware ecosystem at the node, rack, and datacenter level
