About The Position

The Enterprise Director for Professional Billing Applications is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and operation of applications within the application scope. This includes documenting and evaluating current systems, recommending and justifying improved systems, contributing to priorities for system implementation, staffing resources, and developing the conceptual design for each improved application. The role ensures that applications are designed and interfaced in a manner that satisfies the users of the systems, maintaining accessible and integrated information for both providers and users. The director acts as the primary contact for operational leadership in the corresponding application area and is responsible for executing and providing results for all phases of system applications according to established time frames. The position also involves consulting with users to identify and evaluate opportunities for improvement in applications, managing hardware and software contracts, and developing operational budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Typically requires 7 years of experience in information systems, solution design, systems development, implementation, and installation within a complex environment.
  • 3 years of management experience in project management and managing multi-discipline work teams.
  • EPIC Resolute experience is strongly preferred.

  • Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through day-to-day management.
  • Advanced project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and operation of applications within application scope.
  • Document and evaluate current systems, recommend and justify improved systems.
  • Contribute to priorities for system implementation and staffing resources.
  • Develop conceptual design for improved applications.
  • Ensure applications are designed to satisfy user needs and maintain accessible information.
  • Act as primary contact for operational leadership in the application area.
  • Execute and provide results for all phases of system applications according to established time frames.
  • Communicate with users, committees, and affiliates regarding system plans and project status.
  • Consult with users to identify and evaluate opportunities for improvement in applications.
  • Manage and support changes/enhancements ensuring proper analysis, testing, and change management processes.
  • Assist with management of hardware, software, and consultant contracts.
  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Develop and recommend capital and operational budgets.
  • Ensure department operational budgets are met and projects are delivered within budget.
  • Oversee development, execution, administration, and evaluation of information systems processes.
  • Perform human resources responsibilities for staff including interviewing, promotions, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct.
