We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft. This position is on site in Fort Worth, TX. Enterprise Digital Systems The Enterprise Digital Systems team is responsible for leading the implementation of new digital systems at Bell. These new systems support enterprise processes such as; Engineering Design, Production Engineering, Operations, Quality and Service Engineering. As a member of the Enterprise Digital Systems team, you would be responsible for working closely with end-users to understand their requirements and needs and then communication with those requirements to IT, so that solutions can be bought or built to meet the requirements. During this process there is an expectation that the business processes will be transformed, so that end users are more productive at the end of the implementation than they were prior to the implementation. What you’ll be doing as a Systems Engineer Design, integrate, and maintain complex systems, analyzing user requirements, and ensuring systems are secure, available, and efficient. This involves a broad range of tasks, from designing and testing processes and installing and configuring hardware and software Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions to maintain system efficiency and resolve problems Creating control features to ensure systems effectively meet the organization’s quality standards Examine system abilities, determine the best methods of executing all forms of information translation to meet design requirements. Maintain engineering documents, system configurations, and technical processes Creating scripts and tools to automate tasks for production environments and improve business processes. Cross-functional collaboration including working with other engineers, IT staff, vendors, and management to ensure seamless integration and support of business objectives.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive understanding of design and production engineering modeling and simulation, test case development, and testing
  • Ability to prioritize work, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a team player mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, and brief leaders/customers
  • Bachelor’s degree with major in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, Related Degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Dassault Systems including CATIA v6/3DX and DELMIA.
  • Prior experience designing, integrating, and maintaining complex systems, analyzing user requirements, and ensuring systems are secure, available, and efficient.
