About The Position

Peraton is hiring an Enterprise Data Enablement Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year and work is performed at a customer location. As an Enterprise Data Enablement Support Systems Engineer, you will support activities that optimize the customer’s data availability and utilization to drive mission success. You will promote cross-program coordination and technical collaboration to reduce integration risk. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 10 years of systems engineering experience. A Master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 14 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
• SIGINT experience.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively in small teams with staff and local SMEs that may include people with non-technical backgrounds.
• Ability to produce, singularly, and in small groups, engineering documents related to data – including but not limited to its structure and format.
• Willingness and ability to frame complex problems into a range of course of actions for the purpose of providing recommended actions to the USG.
• Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Nice To Haves

• Technical understanding of design, architecture principles and techniques, data formats and data flow management to take business requirements from concept to implementation.
• Exposure to, and understanding of, cloud technologies.
• Ability to model complex mission workflows for the purpose of identifying core systems and data that are commonly used across many mission workflows.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting to complete assigned tasks within expected.
• Command line experience.
