Enterprise Data Cybersecurity Engineer, Lead The Opportunity: Principally responsible for Booz Allen Hamilton’s Data cybersecurity solution design, strategy, and effectiveness. This includes participating in shaping Booz Allen's Data cybersecurity capabilities worldwide by collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop a business-wide converged technological security strategy. This strategy will drive the future security roadmap for Booz Allen's Data cybersecurity stack, data protection programs, and go-to-market platform protection models. In this role, you will be accountable for the data cyber solution stack, ensure data protection controls are appropriately configured, and continually reduce data cybersecurity risk. You will ensure data platforms, such as cloud data platforms, data lakes, databases, and storage systems, and their configurations across production, test, and extended enterprise environments meet Booz Allen Hamilton's security standards. This includes developing and promoting configuration policy changes in partnership with data engineering and platform teams, monitoring compliance, performing regular assessments to identify and remediate deviations, and working closely with stakeholders to promote a strong data security culture. You will originate, facilitate, and lead IT and security teams’ efforts to deploy and maintain data protection solutions, ensuring that data controls, such as encryption, tokenization, masking, and key management, are properly implemented to defend against emerging threats. Your expertise in data security configuration management will be crucial in maintaining a secure and resilient data ecosystem. Additionally, partner with cyber threat and security operations to drive threat-informed data protection strategies. Perform security reviews based on the security stack philosophies and standards, with a primary responsibility for leading data security outcomes in collaboration with technical sector experts. Provide an integrated security ecosystem to deter, detect, defend, and respond to business-impacting security, operational security, and risk issues related to data protection and data lifecycle management. Leverage skills in independently conducting technical analysis of security and business problems, including threats, incidents, investigations, workforce protection, and other general security-related issues involving sensitive data. Communicate and coordinate response and defensive actions across multiple security disciplines, disseminating technical information as appropriate in support of Booz Allen Hamilton's critical business, go-to-market, and operational infrastructure needs.
