The Data Architect will provide leadership and own the blueprint for Stanford Health Care and School of Medicine data management and Analytics. An ideal candidate is someone who has lived in the data world both cloud and on-prem and has a breadth of experience in all types of data stores - relational, image, object etc. Experience with both transactional and warehouse data is required. Healthcare experience would be ideal. The individual should have a point of view and speak to data architectures with authority and back it up with detailed technical knowledge and experience. The Architect should have experience in AI and machine learning systems. The role will include analyzing and proposing architectures for data related projects, data and analytics platform management as well as data interoperability across SHC and external entities. The candidate should be knowledgeable of data standards, regulations, privacy and security implications in a regulated industry.
