The Enterprise Data Architect will design enterprise architecture (EA) to enable strategic or tactical transformations through informed decision-making at any level of an enterprise to support governance, future growth, adaptability, optimization, innovation, and modernization initiatives such as cloud and digital solutions. The role involves defining and championing the enterprise data architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with long-term business goals and evaluating emerging technologies. The architect will lead a database management and enterprise architecture team, maintaining accountability for establishing the data architecture vision and championing efforts to reach that vision. Responsibilities include serving as the in-house database expert, reviewing and suggesting improvements to data architecture processes, exploring new technologies, leading the development of an Enterprise Data Model, and establishing comprehensive data governance processes.

  • Define and champion the enterprise data architecture vision and strategy.

  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, database design, and administration.
  • 5+ years of experience in an Agile or DevOps enterprise environment using Atlassian tools.
  • Experience with data modeling tools such as ERStudio, ERWIN, and PowerDesigner.
  • Proficiency in AWS technologies such as Aurora, RDS, DMS, and Lambda.
  • Experience with cloud services and solutions, database administration, and development.
  • Knowledge of Sybase or PostgreSQL platforms, relational DBMS, and SQL.
  • Ability to present solutions to various levels of management.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science field.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
