Works under the general supervision of the Assistant Vice President, Information Security, the Enterprise Cybersecurity Architect is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and oversight of secure architectures across UT Southwestern's clinical, research, academic, and administrative environments. This role ensures that cybersecurity is embedded into the design of all critical systems including AI/ML platforms, enterprise applications, cloud infrastructure, and on-prem environments. The architect provides strategic and technical leadership in designing scalable, secure, and compliant solutions that align with institutional business goals, regulatory requirements (HIPAA, GDPR, CJIS, etc.), and enterprise risk tolerance. The role will serve as a key advisor to executive leadership and collaborate across IT, security, and business teams to proactively reduce institutional cyber risk.
