About The Position

The Enterprise Cloud Engineer I is responsible for ensuring cloud environments are properly maintained; including initial incident response for services and products, patching, security remediation, and documentation. Will build, manage and troubleshoot services and platforms in support of cloud services. Execute system changes, while configuring, monitoring, and testing system performance and capacity. Maximize system availability and transparency for customers by providing stable and reliable services and platforms, that promote and enhance Wellmark’s ability to deliver products and services on a 24 x 7 schedule. This specific role will focus on imaging, platform management, and ticket queues, but you do not need to be an imaging expert. You will need a great base of knowledge in Windows system administration to land this role, but we are prepared to train you to handle image building, sealing, and patching processes for both Azure and Nutanix environments.
