About The Position

As a Business Development Manager for DoorDash, you will lead our relationships and negotiations with Convenience/Alcohol companies in the broader US ecosystem. The best candidates will be self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and have exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Finally, you enjoy building and solving ambiguous, hairy problems -- you like to experiment with new things to further develop our business in a way we haven’t yet explored.

  • You’re a Problem solver. You can independently translate high-level goals into actionable plans
  • You have 6+ years of business development experience and sales experience, preferably a mix of high-growth, early-stage startup
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must be comfortable regularly exercising discretion and independent judgment in performing job duties, including evaluating options, making informed decisions, and determining appropriate courses of action within the scope of assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Own, develop and refine the the strategy for DoorDash partnerships in the convenience and alcohol space
  • Manage a pipeline of accounts in all phases of our relationship
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to set the future for our partnerships
  • Lead the deal process with internal stakeholders to draft compelling proposals external partners
