About The Position

The Architecture Governance Specialist plays a crucial role in architectural alignment and control, particularly through Enterprise Architecture Reviews (ERB) and annual application roadmap and portfolio management processes. This individual manages the day-to-day operations of architecture reviews, including creating meeting minutes, providing feedback to project teams, tracking action items, and monitoring progress, ensuring projects align with Nissan's enterprise architecture standards. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills on a global scale, can proactively engage with project teams, and has a deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles. This position constantly provides global communication experience and enterprise-level architecture knowledge in the global EA team. In addition, this role offers the opportunity to improve communication skills in both English and Japanese and plays a key role in moving a large global organization forward towards migration. It always plays an important role on the global stage in the automotive industry and Nissan.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Japanese.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of working independently and proactively, with the initiative to drive results.
  • High organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic understanding of enterprise architecture principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with project management tools and techniques.
  • Ability to respond proactively and flexibly to move forward.
  • TOEIC : 600 or higher (if Japanese is the native language)

Nice To Haves

  • Various IT certifications such as Basic Information Technology Engineer, Applied Information Technology Engineer, TOGAF, Scrum Master, etc.
  • JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test): Want N2 level (if a language other than Japanese is the native language)
  • TOEIC: 730 or higher (if Japanese is the native language)
