About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Enterprise Architect in United States. This role is responsible for defining and executing a company-wide data strategy that unifies disparate data systems and ensures rigorous governance across all platforms. You will design scalable, secure, and compliant data architectures that integrate heterogeneous data sources while reducing technical debt and enabling strategic decision-making. Acting as a trusted advisor to cross-functional and executive teams, you will drive adoption of standardized data tooling and enforce policies around data access, quality, and retention. This role requires both hands-on technical expertise and strong leadership skills to influence stakeholders and guide complex enterprise-wide initiatives. You will work in a remote-friendly environment, collaborating with diverse teams to transform the data ecosystem and support long-term business objectives. Occasional travel (around 10%) may be required to connect with stakeholders and key partners.

Requirements

  • Expertise in data warehousing methodologies and frameworks, including TOGAF certification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience rationalizing complex, multi-platform data estates, including relational and non-relational databases.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement operationalized data governance in large, complex environments.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, capable of guiding large organizations without direct HR authority.
  • Experience with M&A or large-scale data integration projects is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, dbt, Informatica, Datahub, or Presto.
  • Advanced technical knowledge in security, compliance, and enterprise data architecture best practices.
  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field preferred, with relevant certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an enterprise-wide data strategy aligned with long-term business goals and technology forecasts.
  • Design scalable and secure data architectures that integrate multiple, heterogeneous data sources.
  • Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, including ownership, stewardship, access policies, retention standards, and quality metrics.
  • Audit existing data tools and systems, identify redundancies, and rationalize technology to reduce technical debt.
  • Analyze data silos and engineer integration patterns that expose trapped data while maintaining integrity and compliance.
  • Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance to business leaders, articulating the benefits of a unified data model and the costs of fragmented architectures.
  • Influence C-level executives and large cross-functional teams to adopt standardized, centralized data practices.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary with equity and bonus potential, depending on experience and location.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage, including medical, dental, and vision.
  • Retirement savings plan with company contributions.
  • Generous paid time off, parental leave, and wellness programs.
  • Fully remote work environment with occasional travel (~10%).
  • Professional development opportunities, including training, certifications, and skill-building resources.
