About The Position

Braintrust is the AI observability platform that connects evals and observability in one workflow, providing builders with visibility to understand AI behavior in production and tools to improve it. Teams at Notion, Stripe, Zapier, Vercel, and Ramp use Braintrust to compare models, test prompts, and catch regressions, turning production data into better AI with every release. Braintrust is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to prospect and close new business in the East Region of the US. The role will build upon a strong base of early customers including Stripe, Notion, Instacart, and Airtable. The primary users are software engineers, requiring comfort working with a technical audience. This position is based in New York City, NY.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of full cycle sales experience, selling to technical audiences
  • You have the drive and willingness to go deep on our product to carry a technical conversation with AI teams
  • You are ready to roll up your sleeves and drive impact to exceed revenue targets
  • You have a strong worth ethic, competitive drive, and you naturally inspire and motivate those around you
  • You have thrived in environments where things are sometimes loosely defined and may have competing priorities or deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Help develop our GTM strategy and close key customer accounts as part of the foundational sales team
  • Build and own the entire sales process including engaging with potential customers, negotiating and closing contracts, customer retention, and renewals
  • Navigate complex sales and win trust through consultative sales conversations with technical teams
