About The Position

The Enterprise Account Executive for Corporate Tax at Thomson Reuters is responsible for developing account plans for new and existing enterprise corporate customers. This remote-based role involves prospecting new business opportunities, managing major accounts, and leading the sales process from initial contact to deal closure and renewal. The position requires a strong focus on relationship building, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and maintaining accurate sales records in the CRM system.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to sell complex software solutions to large enterprises (revenues of $500M+) using a consultative and value-based approach.
  • Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and possessing a growth mindset.
  • Experience selling to C-level executives with a solution selling approach.
  • Skilled in leading detailed sales processes involving various stakeholders.
  • Strong commitment to the company's mission and understanding of artificial intelligence applications in legal operations.
  • Enthusiastic about prospecting and managing the entire sales cycle independently.
  • Ability to work well with teams across different departments to achieve shared objectives.
  • College degree preferred with a minimum of 5 years direct field sales experience, preferably in the corporate sector.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new business opportunities with both new and existing customers to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Manage a list of major accounts (companies with revenues of $500M+) and lead the entire sales process.
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets set for the role.
  • Collaborate with other teams to tailor solutions to customer needs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Regularly update the CRM system (salesforce.com) to maintain accurate sales records and forecasts.
  • Engage in direct client meetings either in person or via platforms like MS Teams.
