The Enterostomal Therapist in the Transitional Care Unit at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center is responsible for providing quality therapeutic care for patients with ostomies and assisting with the care of draining wounds and fistulas. This part-time position requires working 48 hours per pay period during the day shift, specifically from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The Transitional Care Unit is a short-term care facility that provides extended physical or occupational therapy or skilled nursing care to patients transitioning from hospital to home. The ideal candidate will have excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills, and a passion for working with the geriatric patient population.
