About The Position

UNC Caldwell is the choice for health care in Caldwell County. The Emergency Department sees over 30,000 visits a year. UNC Physician Network provides the majority of primary care and select specialty care to our market from thirteen separate medical park locations throughout the county. Our 137 bed hospital is a member of the UNC Health System. This position features full scope ENT including adult and pediatric populations, with a relocation stipend of up to $15,000 and sign-on bonus potential. The role includes 36 patient contact hours weekly, with 3-4 clinic days and 1-2 days in the OR. An attractive call rotation with collegial partners is offered, requiring 7 days per month. Audiology services are available, along with a mobile hearing bus, 2 part-time physicians, and 1 PA. The location is UNC Surgical Specialists, A Division of Caldwell Memorial Hospital, 322 Mulberry Street, Lenoir, NC 28645, with a satellite location in Granite Falls, NC.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in ENT.
• Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology.
• Valid medical license to practice in North Carolina.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a similar clinical setting.
• Fellowship training in a subspecialty of ENT.
