About The Position

The Enrollment Technical Analyst supports the administration and optimization of Technolutions Slate CRM across multiple instances serving admission and student service offices at Fort Lewis College. This position plays a critical role in advancing enrollment strategy and improving student services by designing technology-driven solutions that streamline processes, enhance communications, and improve the student experience. Reporting to the Admission Systems Manager, the Enrollment Technical Analyst serves as a central system expert and strategic partner to offices such as Skyhawk Station, Financial Aid, the Registrar’s and Admission Offices. This role requires a collaborative, technically minded professional with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement and student success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and one year of related work experience. Four years of closely related work experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Technical proficiency with CRM platforms, databases or workflow systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies
  • Ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of people, including forming strong working relationships with both internal and external constituencies.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Slate or other CRM system
  • Experience working in an organization supporting higher education
  • Demonstrated experience using workflow rules, reports/dashboards, and formulas
  • Working technical knowledge of SQL programming languages to accommodate reporting

Responsibilities

  • CRM Administration & Technical Support (60%) Serve as an administrator of Technolution’s Slate CRM for Student Success used across enrollment and student service offices. Manage system configurations, user access, permissions and performance monitoring Perform regular system maintenance including integrations, deduplication, data validation, and quality assurance. Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate solutions with Information Technology and users.
  • Process Optimization & Systems Development (15%) Design and implement CRM workflows, forms, communications, and automations to support streamlined business processes and student services. Collaborate with department leads to identify and execute system enhancements that improve user experience and operational efficiency. Support change management and continuous improvement initiatives related to CRM functionality.
  • Data, Reporting & Insights (10%) Create, maintain and refine custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for internal stakeholders. Provide data insights to inform strategic decisions and support institutional goals.
  • Training, Documentation & Communication (10%) Develop user-friendly documentation and training materials for staff and student users. Deliver group and one-on-one training on CRM tools, updates and best practices. Communicate process changes and system enhancements effectively across departments
